About Woofer & Mr. Patrick

Woofer & Mr. Patrick have been bringing smiles to kids since 1987. Woofer started his career in cheer as the main character of the Helping Hands Puppet Ministry, a small puppet troupe founded by Patrick and Marsha Dunne in 1987. The Helping Hands Puppet Ministry has ministered to kids all over the country with skits centered around kindness and Jesus’ love.

After many years, the Helping Hands Puppet Ministry started to evolve and center around Woofer with his lovable nature and silly antics. Woofer has participated in many inner city events, vacation bible schools, and off-the-wall skits with his best friend Mr. Patrick.

Mr. Patrick is a retired mailman who dedicates his time to his church, volunteering at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital during the week, and playing with his grandkids (7 of them!).
